Diabetes Management: Providing Support for the Best Outcomes. This program is recommended for healthcare and professionals working with patients with any type of diabetes, including pre-diabetes.
Here are the learning objectives:
Identify the different types of diabetes.
Recognize the healthcare-related economic impacts of diabetes in the U.S. population.
Identify medical testing and other measures necessary to meet HEDIS/CAHPS guidelines.
Understand important nutrient goals for diabetics.
Interpret food labels and their role in managing healthy diabetic nutrition
Determine community support options to help members with diabetes successfully manage their condition
