DIABETES MANAGEMENT

April 6, 2021; 9:00 AM

  • Diabetes Management: Providing Support for the Best Outcomes. This program is recommended for healthcare and professionals working with patients with any type of diabetes, including pre-diabetes.

  • Here are the learning objectives:

    • Identify the different types of diabetes.

    • Recognize the healthcare-related economic impacts of diabetes in the U.S. population.

    • Identify medical testing and other measures necessary to meet HEDIS/CAHPS guidelines.

    • Understand important nutrient goals for diabetics.

    • Interpret food labels and their role in managing healthy diabetic nutrition

    • Determine community support options to help members with diabetes successfully manage their condition
